I read the Hunger Games trilogy.  I wasn't sure what I was going to think of the big screen version. I generally stay away from over hyped movies at least until all the craziness dies down, that way I can watch objectively.  However, I went on opening day and was impressed.   Not with the movie, although I thought Lenny Kravitz and Elizabeth Banks were great, but with the makeup and hair. From the downtrodden looks of District 12, all the way to Drag Queen-meets-the-Mad Hatter looks of the Capitol Citizen. Honestly there is something for everyone:

Katniss before her makeover; - a little bit grunge, a little bit depression era.

Love the hair braiding, in it’s simplest and most elaborate versions.

And the Capitol Citizens…..make up companies across the globe must be thanking their luck stars!

And no matter what,  Halloween is going to be fun this year!!!!
